A sea of beet root on the side of the road in Moravia. Other than ending up as the ubiquitous "obloha" on main dishes all over the country I have a sneaky suspicion that a lot of it goes into alcohol production.
Pioneer Prague expat. Here since 1990. Used to live in CSSR in the 70s and 80s.
Opened first expat bar in Prague in 1992 and today runs Bukowski's in Zizkov. This site is an addendum to my soon to be released book called: "Prague Unplugged, the left skank of the 90s." Owned: Jo's Bar, Jo's Garage, Repre Club, Cafe Nouveau, Martini Bar, Thirsty Dog and the Iron Door.
