Russian Wildfires

Last summer during the Russian wildfire season I got asked to speak on Czech TV about what its like to work on a forest wildfire. I told them about the ones I had been on in BC. They especially liked about the old law in BC where the authorites are allowed to force any adult males to go firefight in case of a shortage of manpower; and if you refuse then you go to jail. At least it was like that back in mid 80s. I told them that broken glass causes lots of fires and that Russia is apparently full of broken glass. Go figure!

Home Sweet Home

Walking on an old disused track along the river in Liben walked past a little hole and just noticed a man's foot sticking out.

Russian Loza to find Nazi Gold

I went out with a Czech colleague to use Russian deep ground penetrating radar called Loza to look for underground anomolies which may be tunnels where the treasure is hidden. No luck yet. Lots of drama though. Many strange characters involved as you can imagine
