Hard Road

Listen; whatever you do take it easy because remember, it's a lot colder in Norway than it is on your ears.

Tatras

Some of the valleys in the foothills of the Tatras hold jewels of nature. Espescially when there are no russian whores around and they are ubiquitous!! Jesus Jesus!!!

George at the Foot

It was like a shower at the foot of the dam. I pulled my camera out from under my shirt for only two seconds; and I got this picture!

South Park in Bohemia

This town is right next to the biggest Dam before Prague on the Vltava called Slapy ( pronounced Sloppy.) The locals have endured all sorts of criticism for whoever it was that got drunk and forgot to regulate the last high waters that flooded Prague. Now they know and have aptly renamed their town because the mayor had shares in all the companies that made billions off of flooding Prague. They are called the "Mullets." Nice bunch of people; just don't have them over for dinner.

Two Great Moments

They say there are two great moments in a man's life: when he buys his first boat; and then when he sells it!

Corporate Raider

Got a picture of a good friend in his late night party garb. I tried to lop off his neck but it didn't go. The mail on Sunday every time!

Lance Armstrong's Team-mate

I was watching a little bit of the "Tour de Fags" and noticed that old Lance didn't quite make it and then I saw one of his team-mates on the old town in Prague. He's such a gracious loser that doper. Maybe next time eh?

Dobřichovice to Černošice

So I ended up walking about 6 Km from Dobřichovice to Černošice along the river to take some photos and get some fresh air. The road led me thru a beautiful little valley full of summer cottages that have obviously been there for a long time.

Further downstream

As I walked along the river it got more and more beautiful. The road became narrow and so did the whole valley. There was a nice little fishing boat nestled in amongst the weeping willows and just across from the pub was an abandoned cabin. A stabbin' cabin nonetheless but in bad shape. I wonder who owns it. That would be a great little party spot!

Udoli Staré Řeky

As I walked further into this Cabin community I came across a pub and some more cute little weekend cottages. Then I went up the hill and got a good view of the train bridge over the Berounka on its way to Pilsen. At the end of the road was the sign at the entrance to the "Valley of the Old River"

Strange building

Apparently, this structure out in Dobřichovice was built like this on purpose. I like it. I think it's funky. Looks like it's sinking in the back. As if it is tipping over. Click on the photo for a close up and you can see how they made the floors inside.

Chaka the Husky

I've never taken pics of animals before really so I thought I would try with Chaka, my friends dog who I was looking after the other day. She's a cutey eh? Going on 13 and still a babe!

Black Baby

This is one of David Černy's black babies on display down in Kampa park. They are the same as the ones climbing on the Žižkov tower

Penguins in the Vltava

I don't really know what the hell this is all about but it definitely is an eye catcher this row of penguins down on the river in Kampa park. First shot looking downstream with Charles bridge in the background, second shot looking upstream with National Theater in back
