Josip Plecnik is one of my favorite Architects of all time. He doesn't really fall into any category I suppose other than post modern. He is his own school. One time I went down to Slovenia with Little Glenn on a drinking road trip. We ended up one night in Ljubljana, the capital city. In the morning I was walking around and for fuck's sakes old Plecnik's work was everywhere. Bridges, statues, government buildings and all the rest. Then we went down to Portoroz on the coast which is another story altogether. I still have the scars.
