Amerika

The Czechs call it Amerika because it looks to them like the grand canyon. It is a 19th century quarry where I think a lot of the Prague cobblestones may have come from. Correct me if I'm wrong. Fantastic place for cliff diving and the water is perfectly clear rain water. There is a safe way in thru an old service tunnel which is normally closed by the authorities who prefer to call it a resticted area and have numbers of people die each year trying to climb in and out on a precarious rusty cable.
