Alpen Willage

I was skiing in the austrian alps and decided to take an afternoon off and make some pictures. Found this memorial in the church graveyard of one of the mountain villages. Can't remember the name. I noticed that a few of the men had died in Russia which I could understand because the Austro-Hungarians were fighting against Russia but then I noticed that one of the men had died in Taschkent. This is Uzbekistan and what the fuck were the Austrians doing in Uzbekland. I checked up on it and it seems he must've died in a Russian POW camp.
